Balaji Thangavelu is an Industry Principal with Infosys Engineering Services and possesses 23+ years of experience. Balaji’s research and focus areas are Software Defined Networks (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), 5G Wireless Networks, and enabling them for Telco and other Industry use cases. He has been advising clients in communications services and other industries for the successful adoption of next-gen networking and communication technologies in their digital transformation journey. He has been involved in incubating and prototyping many solutions and IPs for SDN/NFV/5G areas. Balaji is part of the consulting and architecture core leadership team in defining and establishing multiple service offering relevant for Network Engineering Technologies.
