Augmented Reality is rapidly moving from prototypes to real-world applications, and smart glasses are becoming the next major computing platform. Recently, I had the opportunity to develop a QR Code Scanning and Video Playback application on the RayNeo X3 Pro AI+AR Smart Glasses.
The objective was simple: scan a QR code through the smart glasses camera and instantly launch an associated video within the AR environment. What started as a proof-of-concept quickly demonstrated how hands-free AR devices can transform learning, training, maintenance, retail, and industrial operations.

Infosys Living Labs showcases a wide range of innovative solutions, emerging technologies, and digital transformation use cases for customers, partners, and visitors. To provide an interactive and self-guided experience, I developed a QR Code Scanning and Video Playback application on the RayNeo X3 Pro AR Smart Glasses. Each showcase within the Living Labs is associated with a unique QR code. When a visitor scans the QR code using the smart glasses, the application instantly retrieves and plays a relevant video explaining the showcase in greater detail.
This enables visitors to access rich multimedia content directly through the AR device, creating an immersive and engaging experience without requiring assistance from a guide or additional mobile devices.
