Secure your IoT with ENOs

Having a smooth and protected drifting between public and private networks is crucial because swapping between the two is not essentially secure. But latest technologies offer solutions in this capacity. ENOs (Enterprise Network Operators) are one among them.

Normally, enterprises power their mobile networks with either MNOs (Mobile Network Operators) or MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators). But these are not providing ideal solutions to meet proper needs of enterprises. These comes with flaws of siloed networks with convoluted roaming accords. Also lacking a centralized control and IoT security threats are increasing. Due to this, enterprises require tailored network services and will be met by ENOs.

ENOs provide fully tailored solutions, with more secure IoT connectivity by merging finest features of MNOs and MVNOs and hands over ownership of the network to the enterprise. This technology will take root within businesses as enterprises are looking to gain more control over data security and protect their digital assets.

What are MNOs and MVNOs ?

A Mobile Network Operator (MNO) provides wireless communications services that owns or controls all the elements necessary to sell and deliver services to an end user. Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) also provides similar kind of communication services, but they don’t own the network infrastructure through which the operator provides their services to end users.

MVNOs make business accords with MNOs to obtain MNO’s network services access at wholesale rates, then provides MVNO’s services to end user in retail prices independently.

What is ENO ?

Enterprise Network Operator (ENO) is a new class of connectivity service provider in IoT market. It enables the infrastructure and relevant services for enterprises to own and control their IoT networks. This managed service will be useful for enterprises that lack in-house capabilities for building, managing and running their own network. Using this Network as a Service (NaaS) model, ENOs cloud offer tailored unique solutions to enterprises based on their needs such as a complete private network or any specific elements.

Enterprises that own the network will have the advantage of scalability, better control and flexibility over the network configuration, greater visibility status of the connected devices, etc.

Final Thoughts

Enterprises can consider ENOs as long-term technology partner and they can control entire technology stack and provide ownership to enterprises. When enterprise network technology requirements evolve they can ensure a scalable network for future-proof enterprises by providing right value to their network investments.
